Annarella Bracci was born on December 15, 1937, in the region of Primavalle, Rome, Italy. She was raised by separated parents and had a difficult life. Her father had mental health problems, and her mother ended up becoming a prostitute and used to bring her clients to the family house.

The family was going through a moment of despair, the result of the post-war period, responsible for creating a very unequal Rome. Over the years, Annarella started doing small household chores around her neighborhood, in order to help her mother support the family.

It was not fate, it was Murder

On February 18, 1950, in the late afternoon, Annarella agreed to go and buy coal accompanied by a family from the region. It was on that occasion that the young girl of the Bracci family was last seen alive. After taking the coal, she returned home, but this time alone, which would have dictated the tragic fate of the 12-year-old girl, because she never made it home again.
